LAST UPDATE: 26.08.2025These are the rules for ordering a commission from me! They will usually be digital pieces of art sent as a digital file, but I might also offer physical items such as keychains, stickers or lino prints, depending on what kind of slot I have open at any given time. By ordering you agree to the following:CONTACT AND ORDER1. You are purchasing a bespoke piece of art, made according to the directions, descriptions and references provided. Please gather those references and instructions in one place for my convenience and make those descriptions as concise and clear as possible. Please be ready to clear things up before the work may start so that I can make sure you get exactly the art you want as soon as possible.2. I guarantee that the art you purchase is made by myself, to the full extent of my ability, without plagiarising or theft with the caveat that if you are purchasing a piece of fan art then all the rights to those characters remain with their original creators and the fee that I collect is just payment for the time I spend on your piece.3. Preferred mode of order is through the google form. If for some reason you cannot use the form, feel free to contact me via email or via DM. Preferred mode of contact is email, but I am open to discussing the commission via Instagram or Discord.4. When I send you the finished product, you are welcome to use it for any personal (non-commercial) private purpose as long as you attribute the image to me and not remove my signature. Those purposes include, for example: using the image as avatar, using the image as a reference to order more commissions, making mugs, t-shirts and stickers – as long as you do not sell them it is okay to make these things for your own use. If you are posting the image online, please post with proper attribution to me - a link to my instagram or carrd would be preferable but my nickname (kaazdalena) will suffice. You can use the image as part of your digital identity (avatar, email signature, banner etc.) but you are not allowed to use it as part of any other media or publishing, even if it is free (including, but not limited to: zines, video games, videos, business cards, posters for public events).5. You may crop and resize the work as needed, but be aware that this may cause the image to become pixelated if not done correctly. I am willing to provide you with cropped and resized images made from the work so I can ensure they look good (this is something I won’t charge you for, just let me know what size crops you need when you order). Do not alter my work in any other way (for example, do not change the brightness, opacity or hue, do not distort nor warp the image) unless I agree to it.6. I retain the personal and commercial rights to the image. If you are the original creator of a character (an OC) you will of course retain all rights to the character(s) pictured and I will gladly attribute you in turn when promoting my art unless you ask me to keep you anonymous. Do let me know how you would prefer to be attributed (link to website, Instagram, YouTube or just a nickname?).7. If you want to use the commission for commercial purpose (reselling, reproduction, publishing etc) it needs to be discussed separately and will be licensed and priced accordingly. Contact me directly.8. You do not have the right to use any file I send you in any blockchain-related technology, including NFTs, cryptocurrency, or future inventions in the space. In addition, you don’t hold the right to use the Product for AI datasets or for AI tools and any present or future inventions in the space.9. If you want to order a NSFW commission, you MUST be a legal adult where you live.10. I reserve the right to decline your commission, in case I feel like I cannot make it to your standards or if it crosses my boundaries. Please see COMMISSION INFO on my carrd to see examples of what I can do and a list of what I will and won’t feel comfortable drawing or the list at the end of this page.PAYMENT AND REFUNDS1. You agree to pay all of the due amount upfront via blik, PayPal or Revolut in EUR or PLN. Any other payment mode (payment in person at a convention, bank transfer, etc) has to be mutually agreed before I start working. I will not start working on your commission until I receive the payment in full.2. The final price of the commission is based on the complexity of the piece and hence the amount of time it will take me to finish. The price includes three rounds of reviews at each stage (sketch, lineart, colours, shading, final touches). If you demand big changes to a previous stage after I have moved to the next, I will have to increase the price to cover the additional time the piece will take to finish, see more in the REVISIONS below.PRODUCT DELIVERY1. I will send you a .pdf or .png file to you email or to your provided google drive folder unless other mode is requested. I am open to any method of delivery (for example wetransfer) as long as it is convenient for both of us. You will bear any costs related to the alternative delivery, such as postal costs, material costs, digital service subscription fees etc. You have to propose an alternate delivery method which works for both parties if you would rather not use email for this. I cannot be held accountable if you lose access to the delivery method such as server space or upload services, loss of delivered files, impediments such as spam filters or any other technical obstacles but will do everything in my power to help you regain it.2. After receiving the commission and confirming it, it is your responsibility to store it properly. I cannot reimburse you for the lost product and though I keep backups and I store files for some time upon finishing and will do my utmost to help you regain the access to the artwork, I cannot guarantee that the original copy will be available in case you lose your copy later on.REVISIONS1. The price includes up to three complete revisions at every stage - usually sketch, lineart, colours and shading.2. I offer a reasonable amount of minor edits at each stage, such as changing an eye colour or fixing a small detail, up to an additional 10% of the total time spent on creating the art at a given stage. Any requests above that or bigger revisions requiring me to go back a stage after approval, will have to be agreed on and might result in a price increase. Any such increase will be invoiced separately and will cause me to halt working on the commission until you pay the extra amount.3. Any revisions resulting out of my own negligence are free of charge.CURRENCY CONVERSIONS1. You agree to pay the total amount specified in the agreed upon currency (EUR/PLN).2. I consider payment as received and completed only when the total amount received on my account is at least equal to the invoice amount.REFUND POLICY1. You have the right to request a full refund if there's been no progress for four consecutive weeks, or when the artwork has not been completed within four months unless the deadline has been set otherwise. Some commission slots that require more work will have longer deadlines and must be agreed on before the work commences. These provisions exclude work interruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances such as illness, accident or any other credibly documented reason for interruption of work.2. Please be prepared to contact me in a fast and responsive manner, responding swiftly to any requests for comments, clarifications, opinions, validation of progress etc. If you don’t reply within 2 weeks I will take that as implicit approval of all work progress and current state of the commission but I might have to halt the work until you reply. I will inform you in the message whether it’s additional clarification that you are free to ignore if you want or if it is crucial to me and I will wait for your reply before resuming work.3. If you know that you won’t be able to communicate with me for a period of time for reasons such as vacations, increased workload etc, inform me of the time frame (you don’t need to provide a reason) and I will accommodate that in my schedule for sending you updates and won’t expect a reply in this time, thus halting the process for the time you specify - though it may result in exceeding the time frame stated above as deadline that gives you the right to request a refund and will extend that time accordingly.4. If you request a refund before I have started working on your commission, I will refund you the full amount. If I have already started, I will refund you a percentage of the payment based on how much of the work I have finished and I will need you to note the fact that the work is unfinished should you wish to share it in any way.5. You cannot request a refund after the commission is finished.CANCELLATIONS1. I receive every right to refuse or cancel any order with full refund, without giving a reason. Obviously I want both of us to be satisfied with the transaction so this is an emergency clause.2. Any disrespectful or unprofessional behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in a cancellation of the order. This does not include criticism of the work I do for you, so feel free to be as honest as you want when you do not like something. You will receive a full or partial refund depending on the amount of work completed.
